Dr. Zia-ul-Haq (DG Islamic Research Institute, IIUI): There are various dimensions of celebrating Eid-ul-Adha. While observing Eid-ul-Adha, it is essential to take into consideration the sacrifice and belief of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) on Allah Almighty, that he didn't lose his faith even on multiple persuasions by the Satan. It is not only sacrificing animals, but it is also to slaughter the evil in our heart, mind, life, etc. It is one of the symbols, which demonstrates the sense of sacrifice and harmony among the Muslims on the command of Allah Almighty. We should be thankful to Allah Almighty that we can observe Eid-ul-Adha freely with availability of cattle and slaughtering. Majority of the people are doing it to please the Allah Almighty, but some are doing it for the sake of snobbery, which is highly inhibited in the religion and is found repulsive near to Allah Almighty. It is our spiritual and moral obligation to observe this day with religious prestige and harmony. The Muslim world has to understand that we are divided with our regional needs and can come on one page only if we join hands like real Muslim brothers. The PM has contacted various Muslim leaders and even has been contacted by many. The incumbent government is taking as many steps to strengthen relations with the Muslim Ummah.

Dr. Muhammad Tufail (Religious Scholar): Eid-ul-Adha is the most prestigious occasion for the Muslims, which gives us a greater sense to fulfill the rights of Allah and the people. This auspicious occasion teaches us what sacrifice is and how by staying steadfast to the Allah's will can provide us with great proximity to the Almighty. The religion confines us to give a good share of sacrificial animal to the people who can't afford or can't have it on regular basis. The observing of Eid-ul-Adha is part of our religious belief and is considered as the greatest worship practice that has been made mandatory if an individual has the substantial resources. It is essential for us to understand that if we are provided with such great blessings, it is our utmost duty to share it among the people who are in need to observe the true spirits of Eid-ul-Adha and attain true bliss of the Allah Almighty.

Dr. A. Z. Hilali (IR Expert): Indian government is frightened that if the Muslims in the region find their real strength, it can be a great threat to them. The Indian government is continuing their atrocities in the Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir. But, Pakistan is doing whatever it can to address the issue and make sure that Kashmiris get their right of self-determination. Pakistan condemned India’s idea of holding a meeting of G20 countries in IIOJ&K and asked the world leaders to put a halt on such things which can suppress the hopes of the people in the region. Pakistani media is also playing a pivotal role in highlighting the iniquity of the Indian government and brutality of the Indian army. Now, the international media and world communities are also condemning their acts and raising voice against their hideous act of suppressing Muslims in the region. The world and even Indians abroad are aware of the atrocities of Indian government and they are now condemning it publicly. Nupur Sharma was just a ploy to check what reaction will they get from the Muslims and she did it to become a prominent leader of the Modi-led fascist BJP party. But eventually she lost her credibility as people are very much enraged on her actions. The world is very much familiar of the situation in the IIOJ&K and Indian government’s policies. The G20 countries are very responsible and they will definitely track out a way to resolve the Kashmir issue. India has been humiliated by the world on holding the meeting in the disputed territory on the call of Pakistan. Pakistan is using its diplomatic contacts to raise voice for the freedom of the Kashmiris.

Brig. (Retd.) Said Nazir (Defense Analyst): As Modi-led fascist BJP government and their army is concerned, it has now become totally normal for them to martyr, torture and exploit the basic human rights of the people of Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir. The Indian government is doing whatever they can to undermine the Kashmiris in their fight for freedom. The fascist Indian government is now trying harder to change the demography of the region by providing land and jobs to pandits and hindus, to make the Muslims as minority in the region. If they think they can undermine efforts of Kashmiris for freedom and suppress their voice by their monstrosities, they are wrong. These atrocities are making the people more aggressive and urging them to strive more for their freedom. The hideous image of secular India has been exposed in front of the world and their own people are now condemning such atrocities. They even presented blasphemous statements and no legal action has been taken against them, which is a clear sign of double standards of the Indian government. Pakistan has to continue its role in pressurizing the world leaders and communities to address this issue as much as they can.
