The work on 20 MW capacity Hanzel hydal power project will be started soon.

An agreement in this regard has been signed between Frontier Works Organization and CNEEC in Islamabad.

In a statement Project Director Hamid Hussain said that with the efforts of Chief Minister Muhammad Khalid Khorsheed the MOU has been signed.

The project is being constructed on the run of the river and will provide twenty MW electricity round the year helps to end load shedding from Gilgit.
