The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan has announced to launch an innovative and pioneering program aimed at fostering digital and financial literacy among primary school children.

In a groundbreaking collaboration, the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan has partnered with key stakeholders in the financial sector, including the State Bank of Pakistan, the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF), and Karandaaz Pakistan, to develop and execute this exceptional program.
In this programme, tailored learning materials and textbooks have been meticulously crafted to cater to the unique needs of primary school children. These materials will serve as invaluable resources to facilitate digital and financial literacy education.
Similarly, in order to ensure the successful implementation of the program, teachers in participating schools will receive comprehensive training. This training will empower them to effectively deliver digital and financial literacy lessons, fostering an engaging and dynamic learning environment.
Additionally, the program will introduce students to fundamental digital skills, enabling them to navigate the digital world confidently. This exposure will help bridge the digital divide and prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century.
