Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Iftikhar Gilani has said that harnessing the region's hydropower potential can increase state revenue and create employment opportunities for young people.

He expressed these views while chairing a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Power Development Organisation in Muzaffarabad today.

The prime minister said the government is focusing on developing various sectors to strengthen the state's economy.

He said a comprehensive policy will be formulated to ensure the effective implementation and timely completion of development projects in the hydropower and other sectors.
