Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said PTI is pursuing an anti-Pakistan agenda and the patriotic people of Pakistan will not let that succeed.

Responding to remarks made by Leader of the Opposition Omar Ayub, he said the people have rejected PTI’s repeated calls for disrupting peace and order in the Federal Capital.

The Minister said PTI is trying to stoke provincial hatred to achieve its vested political interests, which is an insult to the collective consciences of the people. He said now it is talking of launching a civil disobedience movement. He said that ten years ago this party had given such a call, which was rejected by the people. He expressed the confidence that their new call for civil disobedience will also fail miserably.

Khawaja Asif said instead of providing relief and protecting lives of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial government is busy marching on Islamabad and the Federal Government.
