The seventh edition of the multinational maritime exercise Aman-2021 is beginning in Pakistani waters (Karachi) today (Thursday).

The 6-days exercise, with the slogan ‘Together for Peace”, will have two phases, a harbor phase and a sea phase.

Forty-five countries along with their surface and air assets, special operation forces, marine teams, senior officers and observers are participating in the exercise.

The exercise is carried out in collaboration between the navies of various countries to maintain a safe and sustainable maritime realm.

It may be pointed out that the Exercise is conducted by the Pakistan Navy after every two years with a resolve against terrorism and piracy.
