3rd death anniversary of renowned and finest artist Qazi Wajid was observed today (Thursday).

Qazi Wajid is one of the pioneers in the Radio and TV mediums. He started his career from Radio Pakistan and remained associated with it for 25 years.

He later worked in various successful TV productions. He was renowned for his countless roles he played both on Radio and TV and entertained a large number of audiences with his work.

Some of his famous dramas included Taleem-e-Baalighan, Khuda ki Basti, Tanhaiaan, Kiran Kahani, Shama, Mirza Ghalib Bandar Road Per, Hawwa ki Beti and Dhoop Kinaray.

Qazi Wajid was also awarded Pride of Performance for his services to the field of performing arts.
