The Cabinet Committee on State-Owned Enterprises has approved key board appointments and reviewed performance of SOEs and Implementation of Cabinet's decisions.

The Cabinet Committee met in Islamabad on Tuesday with Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb in the chair.

A presentation was also given by Finance Division, detailing the financial performance of loss-making and profit-making SOEs for the year.

The Finance Minister instructed relevant authorities to expedite the privatization process for loss-making entities to improve financial sustainability.

The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for Housing and Works Mr. Riaz Hussain Pirzada, the Attorney General of Pakistan, Federal secretaries and senior officials from relevant ministries, divisions, and departments.
