Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif says equal participation of men and women in scientific research and technological advancement is essential for economic development and societal well-being.

In his message on the International Day for Women and Girls in Science, he said women and girls have made remarkable contributions in shaping our world through scientific discovery, innovation, and leadership.

Shehbaz Sharif said the government of Pakistan has prioritized programs that focus on skill development, support for women-led start-ups, and greater access to research funding and initiatives.
