Pakistan's digital economy could reach $75b: Amir Ibrahim

Pakistan's digital economy has the potential to reach 75 billion dollars, which is possible with investments in broadband, fintech and artificial intelligence.

This was stated by the Chief Executive Officer of Jazz, Amir Ibrahim at the World Economic Forum 2025 in Davos, Switzerland.

He said nearly six thousand companies in Pakistan are providing jobs to over three hundred thousand IT professionals.

Amir Ibrahim said Pakistan is at a critical phase of digital transformation, with the IT sector expected to grow by 30 percent annually and earn 3.6 billion dollars revenue by 2029.

He said the government's initiatives are fostering a digital economy that will promote economic growth and inclusion.
