Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Munir Akram paid a farewell call on UN Secretary-General António Guterres.   

The Ambassador underscored the need to strengthen multilateralism with the United Nations at its core and commended the Secretary General's leadership in advancing sustainable development.  

He emphasized reforms in global financial institutions, reviewing peacekeeping operations and fostering consensus on the implementation of the Pact for the Future.

Munir Akram also expressed gratitude for the Secretary General's support to the Pakistan Mission in promoting shared objectives.

The UN Secretary-General lauded Ambassador Munir Akram's outstanding contributions to multilateral diplomacy and extended his best wishes for the future.
