A formal welcome ceremony in honour of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was held at the Palace of Independence in Minsk, Belarus. 

On the occasion, anthems of both the countries were played.

A guard of honour was presented to the Prime Minister by the armed forces of Belarus.  

Earlier on arrival at the Palace of Independence, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko warmly received the Prime Minister.
