At the UN Security Council, Pakistan has demanded an end to Israeli violations of Syrian sovereignty.

Delivering national statement during the Security Council briefing on Syria, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, said the recent Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple locations in Syria including civilian infrastructure and urban centers have caused civilian casualties and pose a grave threat to regional and international peace and security.

The Ambassador urged the Security Council to not allow illegal military actions, as they are setting dangerous precedents.
