Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has thanked Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko for the gracious hospitality extended to him and his delegation.
In a post on social media platform X, he said it is a monumental day in Pakistan-Belarus ties. Shehbaz Sharif said he held a warm and most cordial meeting with President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
He said they reviewed the entire spectrum of their bilateral cooperation, including political, trade, investment, and people-to-people contacts.
Shehbaz Sharif said highlights of their talks included the agreement to send over 150,000 highly skilled Pakistani workers to contribute to nation-building efforts in Belarus; enhanced cooperation in agriculture and food security; and potential joint ventures in the manufacturing of electric buses and agricultural machinery. He said these steps will help transform their enduring bond of friendship into a lasting partnership.
The Prime Minister said President Aleksandr Lukashenko and he share a strong desire to continue elevating Pakistan-Belarus cooperation to new and greater heights.
