In Gilgit, three policemen have been martyred and two others injured in Kargah Nallah in a terrorists attack at a police check post at Majenay.

According to police one terrorist was killed and another injured in retaliatory firing. The injured policemen have been shifted to DHQ Hospital Gilgit for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, spokesperson of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Fawad Chaudhary has strongly condemned attack on a police check post in Kargah Nala area of Gilgit.  

In a tweet message, Chaudhary said this is not the usual situation in Gilgit-Baltistan.  He said effective steps will be taken to combat terrorism.

Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Dr. Hassan Askari has also strongly condemned the attack on a police check post in Kargah Nala area of Gilgit. In a statement, he expressed profound grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of police personnel.
