Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has won the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize for ending 20 year war with Eritrea. 

Abiy Ahmed made remarkable peacemaking efforts to end war between Ethiopia and Eritrea over a disputed border territory costing huge financial and human loss.           

The prize worth around 900,000 dollars will be presented in Oslo, Norway on December 10.
