Russia has launched further missile attacks in Ukraine.

According to Ukrainian officials, at least one person was killed in today's attacks.

Russian Defence Ministry in a statement said that it continues to launch long-range air strikes on Ukraine’s energy and military infrastructure.

It further said the purpose of the strike has been achieved and all designated facilities have been hit.

Meanwhile, the United Nations has said principles may have been violated by Russian missile strikes.

In a statement, spokesperson for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ravina Shamdasani urged Russia to refrain from further escalation, and to take all feasible measures to prevent civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure.
