CAEDA seeks collaborative economic initiatives with Pakistan

China Asia Economic Development Association has evinced interest in collaborating with Pakistan on a range of trade and economic initiatives.  

The development reached at a meeting of a delegation of the Association led by Qian Qiu Zhu and Jian Jun Guo with Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal in Islamabad .

The initiatives for collaboration include establishing a 'Pakistan Zero-Tariff Trade Zone', a service center for Chinese imports, and exploring opportunities in agriculture, livestock and Business to Business investment potential.

On the occasion, Ahsan Iqbal reaffirmed the deep bond between Pakistan and China.

He said Pakistan is committed to ensure safety and security of Chinese nationals who are contributing to Pakistan's development.

Ahsan Iqbal highlighted the second phase of CPEC, with a focus on fostering Business to Business partnership.

He underscored the significant potential for collaboration between Pakistani and Chinese enterprises.
