The R4 Group of countries, comprising Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Türkiye, has condemned in the strongest terms the ongoing hostile attacks by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia.
According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Group, in a statement, reaffirmed that these attacks constitute a flagrant violation of international law and Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Group said these attacks pose a direct threat to the security, stability, and safety of civilians, and that it is a dangerous escalation that cannot be justified or accepted under any pretext.
The Group reaffirmed its solidarity and support for Saudi Arabia, including for all legitimate measures it takes to counter, deter, and prevent these attacks, in defense of its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and in protection of its residents, in line with the UN Charter and international law.
The Group held the Houthi militia fully accountable for the consequences of these attacks and any repercussions threatening regional and international peace and security.
The Group demanded an immediate and unconditional halt to these attacks.
