Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain has assured to take steps to bring improvement in the lives of workers.

Addressing a national tripartite labour conference in Islamabad on Monday, he recognized that the backbone of our nation's progress is the diligence and commitment of the workers whose contributions lay the foundation for collective growth.

Therefore, he said safeguarding their health, safety and welfare is not just a moral obligation but a strategic imperative for the government.
