An important meeting regarding the evacuation of Pakistanis from Syria was held in Islamabad today with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in the chair.

The meeting was briefed that Pakistani nationals, who have reached Beirut from Syria, will reach Pakistan through chartered flight on Thursday night.

Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has been entrusted with the responsibility to welcome these Pakistanis, coming from Syria, at the airport on behalf of the Prime Minister.
