Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa says Pakistan Army is committed to play its part in establishing peace under United Nations banner and it has rendered numerous sacrifices for this noble cause.

He was talking to Commander of the Terrestrial Army Congo Lieutenant General Sikabwe Asinda Fall in Rawalpindi today [Wednesday]. He said Pakistan views Congo as a key country in African continent and it appreciates its role for regional peace.

The visiting dignitary lauded the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces and their role in UN peacekeeping operations in Congo.
