Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of senior journalist Javed Shahzad.

In a statement, he said that his services in the field of journalism and media in Pakistan will always be remembered.

The Prime Minister prayed for higher ranks of the departed soul and expressed condolences to his family.

Later, Javed Shahzad was associated with the Ausaf Group.
