Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and north Balochistan during the next twelve hours. 

Fog is likely to prevail in few plain areas of Punjab during morning hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: 

Islamabad and Muzaffarabad eight degree centigrade, Lahore eleven, Karachi seventeen, Peshawar ten, Quetta and Murree three and Gilgit two degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, very cold and dry weather is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla while cold, dry and foggy weather during morning hours in Jammu.         

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar and Pulwama minus one degree centigrade, Jammu eight, Leh minus six, Anantnag minus two, Baramulla and Shopian zero degree centigrade.
