Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar chaired the first meeting of the Committee on Improving Government Efficiency in Islamabad today.

The committee, constituted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, after detailed deliberations, established sub-groups on digitization, global best practices, performance appraisal, rewards and MIS.

Ishaq Dar directed the sub-groups to proceed swiftly in collaboration with all the stakeholders and recommend practical steps for the Government to improve efficacy, effectiveness and outcomes for the people of Pakistan.
