Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of former Chairman Bank of Punjab and former Chairman Punjab Public Service Commission, Safdar Javed Syed.

Commiserating with the bereaved family, he prayed for the departed soul.

Shehbaz Sharif said Safdar Javed Syed was a competent, honest and dedicated officer. He said late Safdar Javed Syed's life is an exemplary model for new officers to follow.
