The 28th death anniversary of renowned poet and lyricist Saifuddin Saif was observed today (Monday).

Saifuddin Saif was born in Amritsar‚ in 1922.

His poetry evolved and he wrote some very powerful poems during his college days‚ which immensely made him very popular throughout Punjab.

Saifuddin Saif died at the age 72 in 1993.
