Tahir Ashrafi urges world Muslim leaders to help Afghanistan

Prime Minister's Special Representative on Religious Harmony Maulana Tahir Ashrafi has urged world Muslim leaders to play their role to help Afghanistan deal with current difficult situation.

Addressing media in Islamabad on Friday, he warned that abandoning Afghan people in this hour of need would escalate a humanitarian crisis in the war torn country.

The Special Representative said Prime Minister Imran Khan is in contact with all major countries to get support for Afghan brethren.

Tahir Ashrafi said Pakistan's narrative of peaceful solution to Afghan problem is being acknowledged and supported by all nations.

He also urged the nation to express solidarity with security forces and help them in dealing with challenges of hybrid war.
