Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has visited Jinko Solar Company in Shanghai.

During the visit, officials from Jinko Solar offered to establish a manufacturing plant in Punjab.

The Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities of Punjab government to take necessary steps for setting up the solar manufacturing plant in the province.

Expressing her commitment to renewable and affordable solar energy projects in Punjab, she invited Jinko Solar to participate in green energy initiatives in Punjab.

The Chief Minister said that Pakistan particularly Punjab, offers excellent opportunities for solar energy production.
