Frontier Corps (North) has been taking measures to make the tribal youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa skillful.

In this regard, the first course jointly organized by Frontier Corps (North) and Shahid Afridi Foundation was successfully completed at Khyber Institute of Technical Training, Landi Kotal.

Eighty-four male and female trainees were imparted training of basic skills training in the nine-month course. The training includes computer and digital skills, sewing and embroidery, motorcycle mechanics, electricity and welding training.

Chief Guest IG Frontier Corps congratulated the participants for successfully completing the course and distributed certificates among them.

The participants, who completed the training, expressed their gratitude to Frontier Corps (North) and Shahid Afridi Foundation, saying that such courses will provide opportunities to the youth in the region to get decent employment.

On this occasion, on the request of local tribal elders, the IG FC issued orders for courses covering two sessions, morning and evening, and increasing the number of youth for the courses.

President Industrial Association, in his remarks, appreciated the initiative of providing technical education to the tribal youth in the district. He said they will ensure employment for the youth who would complete the training.
