The 108th birth anniversary of Urdu revolutionary poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz was observed on Wednesday.

He was born on February 13th, 1911 at Narowal District.

His notable works are Naqsh-e-Faryadi, Dast-e-Sabah and Zindan-nama.

Faiz Ahmed Faiz received many awards, including, Nigar, Lenin Peace Prize, HRC Peace Prize, Nishan-e-Imtiaz and Avicenna Prize.
