Israel has again threatened to resume the war on Gaza and withdraw from the ongoing ceasefire, if Hamas does not release more Israeli hostages by Saturday.

The most recent threat was announced today by Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz.

This comes a day after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a similar warning of withdrawal from the ceasefire.
