The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has advised the intending pilgrims to deposit the third instalment of their Hajj dues by the due date tomorrow.
Ministry's Spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt said this in a statement today. He said the intending pilgrims under the Government Hajj Scheme are requested to deposit their dues in the designated bank branches.
The Spokesperson urged the intending pilgrims to obtain a computerized receipt of Hajj dues from the relevant bank branch. He added that failing to deposit dues may lead to the cancellation of their application for Hajj.
Muhammad Umar Butt said the intending pilgrims can get the mode of sacrifice changed as well as short to long duration, room facilities, and departure location through the bank.
He mentioned that four point seven-five billion rupees were saved from the last year's Hajj and the process of returning the amount to concerned Hujjaj is continuing. He said most of the banks have already transfer funds to pilgrims' accounts.
He said Hujjaj of last year can contact their respective bank branch in this regard.
