Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Revenue Haroon Akhtar Khan says Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) will be made effective to promote small businesses and accelerate industrial development.                                                     

Chairing a meeting of the Authority in Islamabad on Thursday, he said restructuring of SMEDA is necessary as per the vision of Prime Minister to enable it contribute to youth employment and economic development. 

The Special Assistant was briefed about performance of SMEDA.
