Egypt says it will formally join the lawsuit filed by South Africa against Israel at the International Court of Justice.

This has been announced by Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement issued in Cairo.

The statement said the move comes due to the escalating Israeli aggression against Palestinians.
