Palestine has expressed its deep concern on a draft law being discussed in Israeli Parliament to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque and warned Israel in this regard.
Addressing the Cabinet session in Ramallah, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh said this step would ignite extreme anger among Palestinians and its consequences cannot be predicted because of the sanctity Al-Aqsa Mosque for Muslims.
He called for support of Turkiye, Malaysia, Indonesia and Egypt to prevent the law from being implemented.
The draft bill seeks to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque between Muslims and Jews.
