Chairman WAPDA and Implementation Committee of Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dams, Muzammil Hussain called on Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar in Islamabad today.

He briefed the Chief Justice about the proceedings of the committee and its future roadmap for moving ahead to achieve the milestone in stipulated time constituted by the Supreme Court.

The Chairman WAPDA informed that Secretariat of Implementation Committee has already been established at Islamabad and its first meeting was held yesterday.

He said the meeting decided to constitute five sub-committees each for Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand dams.

The Chief Justice appreciated the prompt response of the Implementation Committee.

He directed the Chairman to keep the impetus for ensuring early commencement of Diamer Basha and Mohmand dams.
