Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has killed two terrorists on Dera Ghazi Khan-Quetta Road who had a plan to target important installations and launch terrorist activities.

According to a CTD spokesman, explosives, two rifles, bullets, and a hand grenade were seized from the hideouts of the militants.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department is the frontline force against terrorism and our valuable asset.

In a statement, the Minister commended the CTD for foiling a terrorism plan in Dera Ghazi Khan in which two Khawarij terrorists were sent to hell.

He further said Punjab CTD has always thwarted the nefarious intentions of the terrorists of Fitna Khawarij, and we are proud of its brave and professional personnel.
