Veteran actor Sohail Asghar passed away after a prolonged illness in Lahore on Saturday.

His funeral will be offered on Sunday after Asr prayers.

Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, in his condolence message, expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the renowned actor.

He said Sohail Asghar performed actions as a comedian, stage and TV actor and his death is a great loss for the showbiz industry.

The Information Minister prayed to Allah Almighty to forgive the deceased and grant patience to his family to bear this irreparable loss.
