The Sindh and the federal governments have decided to build Keti Bandar Port along Sindh coastline to boost trade.

The agreement to this effect was reached at a meeting between Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Qaiser Sheikh and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi today.

The meeting described construction of Keti Bandar Port as need of the hour.

During the meeting, problems of fishermen, treatment of waste water and marine pollution besides others came under discussion.
