Plight of Kashmiris deepened since revocation of special status of territory: Report

A latest report on Indian state terrorism in Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir says the plight of Kashmiris has deepened since the revocation of special status of the territory on August 5th last year.             

The analytical report by Kashmir Media Service says over one million Indian troops have been deployed in every nook and corner of the territory to brutally suppress Kashmiris.         

Meanwhile, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir says serious human rights violations continue with impunity in the territory.

Hurriyat leaders Bilal Ahmed Sidiqui and Shabbir Ahmed Dar in their statements in Srinagar paid rich tributes to Mahaz-e-Azadi founder, Sufi Mohammad Akbar and renowned Islamic scholar Shams-ul-Haq on their anniversaries.

On the other hand, family members of three Kashmiris who were arrested by the Delhi Police a few days ago in a false case held a protest demonstration during BJP’s rally in Budgam and urged the authorities to release them.          

Indian troops launched cordon and search operations in Sopore, Tangmarg, Kulgam and areas of Poonch.

Meanwhile, In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Poonch district today (Sunday).

According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were martyred during a cordon and search operation in Dugran area along the Mughal road.

The operation was underway till filing of the report. More details are awaited.
