Punjab Governor, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has signed amended ordinance for action against profiteers in the province. 

According to new Act, profiteers and hoarders will pay a fine of one thousand to one hundred thousand rupees with imprisonment of one month to a year.

Speaking on the occasion, the Punjab Governor said that profiteers and hoarders will be treated with iron hands.
