The National Assembly resumed its session at the Parliament House in Islamabad today (Tuesday) with Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in the chair.

Five bills were laid before the House today.

These included: The Zakat and Ushr Amendment Bill, 2025, Islamabad Capital Territory Dowry Restraint Bill, Islamabad Animal Protection Bill, the National Commission on the Rights of Child Amendment Bill and the Capital Development Authority Amendment Bill.

The House was adjourned to meet again tomorrow at two pm.
