Special Assistant on National Health Services Dr. Faisal Sultan has called for greater cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan to eliminate polio virus.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Monday, he said Pakistan and Afghanistan are the only two countries where the polio virus still exists. He said it is only through collective efforts both the countries can get rid of the virus.

The Special Assistant said Pakistan also wants to help Afghanistan in the health services.
