Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi has reiterated government's commitment to construct the ML-1 with own resources and double the track from Karachi to Peshawar.  

Talking to media in Rawalpindi on Friday, he said that cargo service of Railways is affordable and government is paying special attention to upgrade its service.

Hanif Abbasi further said that a 106 kilometers long railway line is being laid from Chorr to Thar to transport coal from Thar.

The Minister expressed commitment to ensure the on time arrival and departure of trains, upgrade the dinning service and cleaning of bathrooms of passengers trains.
