The National Assembly is continuing discussion on the President’s address to the Joint Sitting of the Parliament.
Participating in the debate, Usman Badini emphasized the need to address the grievances of the people of Balochistan. He said practical steps need to be taken to address the problems of the province.
Sheikh Aftab Ahmad said all the political parties, while setting aside their differences, should sit together to find solution to the challenges, especially that of terrorism.
Sehar Kamran commended the security forces for successfully completing the operation against terrorists, who had attacked Jaffar Express in Balochistan. He said President Asif Ali Zardari in his address highlighted key aspects to effectively deal with the issue of terrorism.
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhary has said that action will be taken against BLA involved in the attack on Jaffar Express.
Participating in the discussion on the President's address to the joint sitting of the parliament in National Assembly today, he said the BLA facilitators on the social media will also be treated in the same manner.
The Minister of State said that both the BLA and the TTP have the same pattern and they enjoy the backing from a neighboring country. He clarified that there is no insurgency in Balochistan and acts like the attack on Jaffar Express are terrorism. Talal Chaudhary commended the security forces for successfully carrying out the operation against the attackers.
