In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Indian troops have escalated violent cordon and search operations (CASOs) in various areas of the occupied territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian troops in continued house raids and searches in Reasi, Kathua, Doda, Rajouri, Poonch and Samba districts, arrested more than one hundred people, predominantly Muslims. 

The troops have been conducting violent cordon and search operations in the territory for the past several months, under the pretext of suspicious movements.
