Pakistan's IT sector has achieved a historic milestone in exports.

According to statistics, IT exports reached a record 4.5 billion dollars in the last financial year, marking an increase of about twenty-nine percent.

The surge in IT exports was driven by growth in software development, business process outsourcing, Software as a Service and the gaming industry.

Pakistani IT companies boosted export revenues by expanding their access to Asia-Pacific markets, including Japan and Singapore.
