Prime Minister Azad Jammu Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has announced that the draft of the health policy has been finalized.

Addressing the 6th symposium of AJK Medical College in Muzaffarabad on Wednesday, he said the government is paying special attention to the health sector and encouraging research in the medical colleges.

Speaking on the occasion the AJK Health Minister Dr. Nisar Ansar Abdali said health services would be improved further.

Addressing the function Country Director of WHO Dr. Palitha Mahi Pala appreciated the initiation of telemedicine by the medical college and said connecting people with it will prove very helpful.

Earlier, AJK PM inaugurated a blood lab in the college and inspected different sections of the college.
