Pakistan and Denmark have proposed to constitute a cross-functional team of power sector for future discussion and joint workshop to tap opportunities for green energy initiatives and energy conservation in Pakistan.

The understanding to this reached during a meeting between Ambassador of Denmark Jakob Linulf Minister of Energy Muhammad Ali in Islamabad today.

The two sides also held discussion on projects and initiatives being carried out under the Danish Energy and Transition Initiative and Investment Fund, a fund for developing countries by Denmark.

They also exchanged views in detail on opportunities and mechanism for wind energy in Pakistan.
